Dallas Smith
Dallas Smith was appointed as Chief Executive Officer for Petrotranz October 2018 after more than 5 years in senior management roles with the organization.
Mr. Smith joined Petrotranz in March of 2013 as Director, Technical Solutions. His initial key responsibility was to ensure successful adoption and deployment our newest system; the Petrotranz Data Exchange (PDX). In 2014, Dallas became Vice President, Operations. This brought on a more expanded role requiring his involvement in strategic planning, success of daily operations through customer support, technical integrations and overall infrastructure stability.
Following the successful close of the Daily Mail General Trust's ("DMGT") acquisition of Petrotranz, Mr. Smith was further promoted and assumed the role of COO in November 2016. Dallas has been instrumental in driving profitability and efficiency throughout the organization.
Dallas Smith oversees a diverse and growing team and is focused on continuing to strengthen the organizations presence across the region while ensuring fiscal responsibility from the top down. Delivering an extremely elevated level of customer experience excellence consistently, is something Mr. Smith is passionate about. "The simple desire to make people happy and leave them with a sense of satisfaction, is one of the most important attributes of a Petrotranz team member", he says.
Over the last 25 years, Mr. Smith has demonstrated a very strong and proven track record of success. Dallas' drive to always over-deliver on the customers' needs has proven to be a valued asset in his past roles with such organizations as Neo Systems, Zedi, and Pengrowth. Dallas also took his own dot-com venture to large scale success in 2001-2003 as co-founder and Vice President of Technology.
